Guilford Republican Town Committee Mission
Our Mission is to elect and appoint local and State candidates who embody the fundamental core tenants of the Republican Party: individual freedom, fiscal conservatism, and limited government; and who promote
common-sense solutions to the unique challenges facing Guilford and Connecticut.

Recruit civic-minded Republicans for election or appointment to Town of Guilford boards and commissions,
Recommend and endorse candidates for inclusion on the ballots (elected) or to the Board of Selectmen (appointed),
Support Republican candidates for office who will be responsive to the needs of Guilford,
Encourage the enrollment of Guilford residents as Republicans, and
Persuade unaffiliated voters to support Republican Candidates.

Annual Dues
As a Member of the Guilford RTC we ask for a voluntary annual dues payment of $100.00 to help support our various community-based initiatives and to support Republican candidates running for office.

To become a Member of the Guilford Republican Town committee an application must be completed and candidates are interviewed by the Nominations Committee.

Members are voted in every other year at the town-wide Republican caucus in January. At the caucus, a slate is presented by the Nominations Committee, but there can be nominations from the floor.

Terms are for two years, and there are no term limits. RTC Officers are selected by the membership, usually in March of the caucus year.

Vacancies are filled by the Town Committee from candidates brought forward by the Nominations Committee.

Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month @ 7:15pm at the Guilford Community Center. Check screen in lobby for room assignment.
